Do you ever boring because not doing anything or already traveling in around the world? yeah for you foreigner (Non-Indonesian), I think this place will give you more experiences about your travel and knowledge, and for you local travelers (non-Yogyakartan) nothing's wrong if you're gonna take your holiday in there. So, what is that? Yeah you're right, this time I'll explain about Malioboro. You know Malioboro buddies? Not yet? alright alright here we go!
Malioboro street or Dalan Malioboro (Javanese) or Jalan Malioboro (Indonesian) is the most famous street in Yogyakarta city, Indonesia. This street is very spicy, colorful, and the people are so friendly. Some peoples believe this area is the center of Javanese culture and language. Usually the street is selling some of the local cuisine and handicraft such as:
Cuisine:
- Gudeg : a Javanese cuisine made from young Nangka (jack fruit, called gori) boiled for several hours with palm sugar, and coconut milk Gudeg's origins is from Yogyakarta.
- Nasi Goreng : an Indonesian variety of fried rice.
- Bakso : Indonesian version of meatball and believed origins from Maindland China.
- Satay : An Indonesian dish of seasoned, skewered and grilled meat, served with a sauce. Satay may consist of diced or sliced chicken, goat,mutton, beef, pork, fish, other meats, or tofu; the more authentic version uses skewers from the midrib of the coconut palm frond, although bamboo skewers are often used. These are grilled or barbecued over a wood or charcoal fire, then served with various spicy seasonings.However, the most famous satay version in Malioboro is Madurese chicken satay.

Handicraft:
- Batik : A cloth that is traditionally made using a manual wax-resist dyeing technique.
- Blangkon : A traditional Javanese headdress worn by men and made of batik fabric.
- Wayang : A Javanese word for particular kinds of theatre. When the term is used to refer to kinds of puppet theatre, sometimes the puppet itself is referred to as wayang.
- Djogja T-shirt : A cotton T-shirt with unique design of wayang, batik, or another Javanese influence.

Malioboro is located in northern Tugu Station, Yogyakarta city, Yogyakarta Special District Province, Indonesia. The street's name is derived from a cigarette advertisement during the Dutch colonial era.
Malioboro street has many shops and also a mall and a market such as Malioboro Mall and Pasar Beringharjo. The street also had many becak (pedicab) and andong (horse-chart). It also had a monument that named Monumen Serangan Umum Maret 1949 (March 1949 general attack monument). A chinatown also exsist there that named Kampoeng Ketandan (Ketandan area)
