Happy Ramadhan to everyone who carry out the 'puasa' or fasting. You know Ramadhan? You don't know yet? Alright I will give you a litte definition of Ramadhan.
According to Wikipedia, Ramadhan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar. Muslims worldwide observe this as a month of 'puasa' or 'fasting'.This annual observance is regarded as one of the Five Pillars of Islam. The month lasts 29–30 days based on the visual sightings of the crescent moon, according to numerous biographical accounts compiled in the hadiths. The word Ramadan comes from the Arabic root ramida or ar-ramad, which means scorching heat or dryness. Fasting is fard "obligatory" for baligh or adult Muslims, except those who are ill, traveling, pregnant, diabetic or going through menstrual bleeding.
While fasting from dawn until sunset, Muslims refrain from consuming food, drinking liquids, smoking, and engaging in sexual relations; in some interpretations they also refrain from swearing. Food and drink is served daily, before sunrise and after sunset. According to Islam, the thawab (rewards) of fasting are many, but in this month they are believed to be multiplied. Fasting for Muslims during Ramadhan typically includes the increased offering of salat (prayers) and recitation of the Quran.
But according to my opinions, Ramadhan is a full blessed month. Everyone who 'fasting' became patient because they must refrain themselves from the 'nafsu' or 'lust' of consuming food and drink, smoking, emotion of angry, insulting, and sex relation from dawn until sunset. It's healthy, why? Because it make your internal organ such as gastric, small intestine, colon, and every internal organ that relating to digestion of food will take a rest from the dawn until sunset for a month. It's good to decrease fat in your body.
While the sunset is come the ones who 'fasting' is allowed to consuming food and drink, sex relation or anything and it is so enjoyable, it's called 'berbuka puasa' by Indonesian Muslims.
