Indonesian Peoples Thinks that Conserving Their own Cultural Heritage is a Backward and Tacky? (English)

Hi everybody! I apologize if I wrote something that make you feel offended, I just a newbie, and I just want to share something in my mind that very-very disturbed me.

It's started by a stereotype from majority of Indonesian people (not all of course) that Conserving Their Own Cultural Heritage, especially use their own regional languages and wear traditional clothes is a backward and tacky, what the hell? Even the younger generations feel embarrassed & Silly to speak their own  regional languages (examples: Javanese, Sundanese, Minahasan, etc.) they think that was very backward and tacky (sigh). They even proudly speaking Indonesian slang or Simple English. They are more like to use Western culture. All right, all right! I don't blame the Westerner or everyone and I don't say that Western culture is a bad thing. No! I apologizes. But what's wrong with... use your own culture? Is that so ironic?

Shadow Puppet: One of Javanese cultural heritage.

Look at me, I'm a Javanese, I'm a young generation because I was 19th years old and I don't feel ashamed by speaking Javanese language even I'm speaking Indonesian with Banyumasan accent. I don't want to be called "Wong Jawa sing ora Njawani" or "A Javanese that not became a Javanese", and I would tell you, a backward and tacky is the one who feel embarrassed to preserve and conserve their own cultural heritage, the one who think modernization is everything without filtering which is good and which is bad. Once again, I told you my brothers and sisters, don't be ashamed with your own ethnicity, cultural, and regional languages, just keep the good things from your culture and throw away the bad things from your culture, it's simple don't ya? Be proud of it! Why? Because we are Indonesian bro! This is Indonesia sis! A country that have more than 300 ethnicity and more than 700 regional languages and dialects. That's why Indonesia have a motto "Bhinneka Tunggal Ika" that's mean "Diversity in Unity, different but still one".

Hail Indonesia, My Country!
Hail Javanese, My Ethnicity!
